2 much, Solange, Video's and Heavy Rotation
Alot of you might not know but in the process of recording our debut album we actually went in the studio and recorded a song with Solange called "Eleven." Solange is really dope and she just released her second album called 'Sol-angel and the Hadley Street Dreams' which I actually have a copy that I got from up at Interscope in my car
right now and its pretty dope. So, go get that...Its funny because 2 Much and I know all about Hadley street because when we visit our Management downt here in Houston, the actual Music World campus is on Hadley street. All of our fellow Labelmates and friend that work up at Music World spend alot of time over there on Hadley street so I think its pretty cool that it was part of the title for her album. So yea, we've performed with her a couple times and been to functions since we are part of the same management and also we are labelmates and Solange has always been super nice to us and I thought I would share this video with you guys of us in the studio recording "Eleven" with Solange. she wrote and vocally produced the song, check it out!2 Much in the studio with Solange

We probably are the 2 main signed artists out of there and even more...we are labelmates, Mishon is also an Interscope artist and check out the video for his latest single "Excuse Me Mama" which the video features a very good friend of mine... Apple Store's and One Day Poem's
YO! haha Once again sorry for the strong come on... but YO! I'm at the Beverly Center right now. we stopped in the Apple store for a minute and this is what I'm doing with my time in here...
"Using a complex array of perforations, the pavilion's surface allows light to pass through creating shifting patterns, which�Cduring specific times of the year�Ctransform into the legible text of a poem. The specific arrangements of the perforations reveal different shadow-poems according to the solar calendar: a theme of new-life during the summer solstice, a reflection on the passing of time at the period of the winter solstice. The time-based nature of the poem�Cand the visitor's time-based encounters with it�Callow viewers to have different experiences either seeing a stanza of the poem or getting the whole poem. All of these possible experiences are equally valuable and have meanings unique to the individual. This technique has the potential for producing particular effects and meanings within an architectural environment. Without the use of a source of power other than the sun, this project uses light and shadow to push the boundaries of communication and experiential delight."

So last night me and Chris King were in Hollywood at the Chinese Mann Theater for the premiere of the new movie "The Express"
So in the middle of the movie I decided I wanted some popcorn so I told chris I would be right back and I got up and went to the concession stand and I walked up and noticed there was something odd about my server... I was having a hard time understanding her and she was very fidgety. So I asked for my popcorn and then I see her damn near buckle because behind me is Dennis Quaid ... surprisngly he was bold enough to act like I wasnt there and placing my order and walks in front of me and order's 3 popcorns to my server...and she grabs his 3 popcorns... she was so star struck that she gat
hered his food and he throws her 20 dollars and leaves his food on the counter for a second I guess to use the bathroom. I walked up to the counter and asked her for my popcorn and she quickly grabs his food and says "This is a celebrities food!".... I think something was a little different about her so I just let it go and asked a different server for my food... Then on the way home I mad a stop at 7-11 and it was pretty empty which is surprising for a 7-11 in the middle to Hollywood at night to be empty but anyway so then Selma Blair walked in and we had brief conversation because I had pointed out to her something... My point is people are just people. So because Dennis Quaid gets to watch himself on a movie screen anywhere in America and Selma Blair got to make-out with Sarah Michelle Gellar that means I can't touch their popcorn?! Now I know 2 Much may not be huge right now, but I've watched myself sing and dance on MTV and BET and MTV Jams and be on people's to 25 countdowns and have Rocsi and Terrance talk about us and Vanessa Minillo... TRUST ME that hasn't changed me at all. I'm no different than you, your parents, family, Chris brown, Omari, anyone... and If your standing in line and I'm behind u and I walk in front of you and order...SAY SOMETHING! Dont take that from me! lol

Tennille Mathis
You might remember a group back in Chris Brown "Run It" days called Dame 4 with Mila J, Lorenz Tate's wife Thomasina, and Mercedes Nelson (video model) :
but the fourth member happened to be VERY CLOSE to 2 Much since the beginning she used to live with Milo and I and we have know each other for years and years and she's one of my favorite people in the world! My sister Tennille Mathis

since Dame 4 has disbanded Tennille has been working on her music and modeling and has only gotten better. She remains til this day one of my favorite singers in the world and I love her to death so check out her myspace and show Tennille love and support!

A lot of you guys know about my connection specifically to the planet Mars. Let me break that down a little bit. My name Marcel actually when you break it down and go back into its history, it actually comes from Mars. Mars was the Roman God of war and Marcel actually means young warrior. Not only that but I'm sure you guys have heard the saying "Men are from Mars" before. NO ONLY THAT lol but I'd like to consider myself an 'Outta This World' type of person. Now that being sed and done... I feel I'm from Mars (figuratively speaking) but WTF is this $h!t?! :
Friendships & Marlena Campbell
So I'm 19 now and I bet alot of you are going thru similar life choices and friend situation's and I did growing with 2 Much and the people around us. I'll let it be known now I'ma very private person as a result of it all and I don't have many friend's now. So this part of today's blog entrys dedicated to those people that when they were in our lives we thought they were forever... rider's...true friends...there til' the end... This part is for the realization of change.
People come and go...
But some people are forever....
This is a letter to someone in particular that even though they came and went they had a big impact on me and "the Circle." Her name is Marlena Christine Campbell...
Marlena.... I've written letters to you before and you chose to ignore them. This time I'm not gonna write a letter... all I'm gonna say is... We've been thru it...all of us have and times weren't always easy, but we stuck it out... All of us did.... I thought you would have too. Just know that we still love you and not a day goes by that your not the topic of a house conversation...and the crazy part is that the convo's are never negative, they are always about how much we miss you, love you, and want you back and how perfect that would be. I heard you think one of us tried to bring you down and write negative things about you for the world to see... Never. None of us did that... we don't hate you so why would we? We still love you and if you ever wanted to re-unite with the "Circle" just know we are always here for you open arms... even after the virgin islands and Africa and threats you've made, we just know thats Marlena...cuz we actually really do know Marlena... Think about it...
MONEY IS NOT EVERYTHING... LOVE SHOULD CONQUER ALL!

New Whips
New Whips, Life On Mars, Friendships & Marlena Campbell
Now, Gas Prices are up and the economy is down, but that hasn't stopped the design teams in the automotive world. I wanna take the time out (because I know alot of you are about to reach that driving age) to give you something to work towards getting because I know I will be workin' my @$ off this year to be able to get one of these SEXY cars of 2009 - 2010!
Check out the 2009 Audi A5/S5 : Starting Price 40,300$
Clean and beautiful Interior and it has every function in a car that I would want. The back seats fold for more storage space, and the front seats have heating. The rear view mirror has automatic dimming for the A-holes that drive behind you with their high beams on lol. Alot of the interior is highlighted with brushed aluminum inlays which I love in cars, I think it adds a very bossy touch to it!
One thing I also really love about the Audi's is the lighting on their cars. They come with adaptive headlights that pivot about 15 degree's as you turn while your driving. They also come with Halogen Beam headlamps. The only thing about this car is, I drive a Mazda Rx-8 which to me seemingly burn alot of gas, but this car burns about the same. This is my favorite so far though.
Jaguar 2009 XF : Starting price 49,975$
This is another hott one. Once again a very clean cut interior, but it lack the brushed aluminum inlays that I love so much, Its also more expensive and less suitable for younger drivers. When I see this car I definately get a more mature vibe from it. It has alot of similarities to the Audi S5 like the folding back seats for storage.
Like the A5/S5, it also come with Halogen headlamps, but to be about 10,000 dollars more than the Audi, it should have a better fuel consumption number because 18.4 on average is not good enough for me. As far as the car's design and all that good stuff...Its good, but I think on the performance they could have done better.
2010 Chevrolet Camaro : Starting Price : 22,000$
When I first saw this car in 'Transformers' the movie, I was automatically taken although my interest has faded a little bit I think that its still a heavy hitting car. My problem is, I usually tote around the whole 2 Much and this car is only a 2 seater. I like the interior, and the car is also priced right and get's about 26 mpg which is good especially for a muscle car, but I don't think this car makes the cut for me.
2009 Dodge Challenger : Starting Price : 21,995$
I'm not a huge fan of this car. I've seen it on the street a couple times and I feel like its a little bit too remeniscient of an old car. Although its priced right and gets really good gas mileage, once again, for a muscle car, I'm not in love with the interior. Its just okay to me.
